ungrounded

I want to put a cd player in my car but some guy at best buy said my car has an ungrounded system witch means that they need to replace all my wires. is this true? should I let them do it? can you install a cd player without doing this?

any info would be appreciated

Guy is either clueless or trying to run up the install bill, there is no need to rewire when installing a CD player!

I seen alot of G-bodys with grounding problems. I would check at the battery on the ground side and check and make sure the ground of the battery has that little jumper going to the body right next the battery...
