Went back to stock type I style with Caspers volt booster. I was blowing out spark at 25+ psi of boost and e85.

Just to be clear there is nothing wrong with any of the coils or modules. It just doesn't produce a strong enough spark for 25+ psi of boost. If your running 15-20 on pump gas it should be fine.

Yes I understand I used type ll a few years back had the same problem they do work great up to about 22# I was just curious if the msd coils were stronger but again your right they do work great . I just run 30# now so I'll have to pass

Most people will say it is rpm limited. You say it was boost limited. I run a type 2 ignition with no limitations.

X2. I run 25 pounds of boost with my stock gm type 2 module and coils and have no issues.
