TV cable removal

Hello
How do you unhook/remove the TV cable from the trans? I have the bolt out and the housing but can't get it unhooked. I don't want to break anythings. Trying to get my 9x11 in I bought at Bristol

Try unhooking the TV cable at the throttle body ( The small plastic piece that clips onto the throttle arm ) first , That should give you some slack to remove the cable.

Pull the trans with the cable hooked to the trans. Its easier.

I was just here browsing through and seen your post if you still have not removed your trans yet. Petesgn has you on the right track I pulled my tranny out this pastweekend. I unhooked the TV cable from the TB first in order to receive some slack. This was more then enough to unhook the cable from the tranny. Just my two cents hope this helps.
