TurboLink upgrade?

My car came with TurboLink v2.13 and a dead laptop. I have a working laptop with XP.
I'm think about upgrading to v4.0 but the cost is $170. Yet I can buy the CD w/ v4.0 for $6.

Are the v4.0 cables better or something? Can I just buy the new CD and keep my old cable? TIA

If I could have a working version for $6 I would be very happy.

IIRC as part of the upgrade, you'll need to exchange your 2.13 cable for the version 3+ cable. They are different and not compatible.

YOU'LL FIND THAT THE 3.0 CONNECTER IS SO MUCH BETTER. aND THE 4.0 PROGRAM IS A PLEASURE.

I have been with this program since 2.13?

It is so sweet worth the money, in my opion. HTH'ed...............
