What is the max psi a stock turbo can produce on an 85 stock motor?

i think 17-18? it will go as high as you want but wont make any power , but as always said boost shouldnt go up until you upgrade your feul system.

I saw my dad's peg out at 30psi when stock. Once I had a lot of mods, mine would only go to 19 psi with the wastegate completely shut. Like was already said, they're only make power to 20 psi. I saw no gains going past 20. With a big turbo, it's a whole different story.

i run mine at 15 psi but have run at 20 no real diffrance by seat of the pants
