Replacing both turbo oil lines from motor. Teflon tape, pipe dope, teflon paste or nothing????

Thanks
Andy

Just make sure you have good o-rings in place at the end and bolt them together with no tape or paste.

Say what?

I'm gonna replace my oil feed line to the turbo. Bought the replacement one from Kirbans. It didn't come with no stinkin' o-rings!

Will any old o-ring (the right size of course) do the trick or does it have to be some high temp and oil resistent $100 :p world class material o-ring?

My mind is going bad this evening:D Ok, the turbo feed line going from the distribution block coming off the side of front of the block gets teflon tape on it and the end that screws into your turbo. The return line going back from the bottom of the turbo has a paper gasket held in with the two bolts located at the bottom and no gasket into the block. I was thinking oil cooler lines when he said coming from the motor which they do have o-rings:mad: Everything is blending in my view when I look at these threads!
