Turbo Buick 10 Commandments

Thou Shall expect that changing one part will lead to a cascade effect to others
ain’t that the truth! And it’s not even my car!
So far
scanmaster
Walbro 255
Hotwire kit
New plugs/wires
60# injectors and TT chip
Ls1 maf and decoder or whatever it’s called
Polished 3.5” maf pipe
TA rear end cover

and that’s not including the boring stuff like changing trans fluid.
this all still has to go on too! Well I’m on vaca end of july

all I planned on doing was change the plugs/wires and all fluids….

I feel you.

I started with wanting to deal with the squealing of a set of Baer SS4+ front brakes.
I ended up doing:
  • New CPP front spindles/hubs
  • C6 front brakes
  • Kore3 rear brackets
  • C6 rear brakes
  • 18" wheels/tires
  • new master cylinder
  • new prop valve
  • all rubber lines replaced with ss brake lines
  • b-body brake booster
  • rear end straightened
  • axle tubes welded
  • new rear end bearings/seals
  • new 3.42 gears
  • ridetech upper and lower control arms
  • ridetech sway bar

Now that all that is done I ended up getting a ecuGN so the new cascade starts :p
  • ecuGN
  • remove some sketchy wiring including custom hotwire kit that was hacked in to the wiring harness
  • new Caspers engine wiring harness with ecuGN add-on
  • new battery cables
  • new 40a hotwire kit
  • re-wire/relocate alky control box
  • re-wire 3.5 bar map
  • add alky pressure sensor
  • add fuel pressure sensor
  • add oil pressure sensor
  • add trans temp sensor
  • building custom digital dash (this one will take some time)
this clip is relevant

Found this pic while doing some cleaning today. Should probably add;
-Thou shalt not put a T70 turbo on a 100% stock engine.
