Tuning question

Just got my RJC boost controller in the mail the other day so ive been adjusting it to where i get the most amount of boost w/o any KR. Where it stands now im reading about 17psi with 0.7-0.9 of KR, i cant remember what the 02 was reading. So with that said i have couple of questions

1)Is there some sort of 'acceptable' amount of KR these cars can take? I know the goal if for none but just curious.
2)Before messing around with the boost the car was set at around 15 psi and wasnt getting any KR.
With every pound of boost I increase do i also need to adjust the FP or timing at all?
 
0.0 on the knock. Fuel should be 43 psi line off. Some guys play with it a little. But that's about all you get on pump gas without alky. Leave timing alone in the chip.
 
If you are putting more air through the motor you also need more fuel. Without data you don't know if you need more fuel or not. Zero KR is the best (safest) but my car always ran fastest with 0.9 KR at around 80 mph.
