TTA owners who need seat covers

I agree. Camel was also the color mentioned by Hawks as the best. I am having them send me a carpet sample as well. I figure it will be easier to do the carpeting with the seats already out.

Hi all! This afternoon I am sending out original TTA/NOTCHBACK seats( full set) to Katzkin for verification of fit. Please forgive me for the delay, but I do want to make sure in your interest and mine that there is not one glitch in proper fit entirely. This will add a bit of delay and could not be avoided as I had to await an answer from Katzkin that they would install a set of their skins on the seats for me that my order to them on your behalf was contigent upon the fit. So, they agreed to not lose the order and cover the seats for my review of fit, and color. I realize that there was a time limit set by Rich and I to allow ample time for orders. With regards to that, the time will be extended until I have personally inspected the seats after returned to me by Katzkin. Please accept my apology for the further delay, but I do believe that it will be well worth it in the end.

I think it's self explanatory save for the mention of extending the G/P. That will be up to Hawk's ultimately but I would guess that will add a week at least to allow any one else in.

It was this Friday, but because of the above message Hawk's left for us on TTA.com I'd say it'll be pushed forward till at least the 22nd, if not more.

Ok $779 for Fronts and Rears with extra leather for the doors,I see carpet shipping is free,but i cant seem to find the price for carpet... also what about the headrest's,are they included with the fronts... thanks Dennis
 
I just got these seats recovered, I ordered the factory leather. I think they look great, what do yall think?

The seats where not "covers", they where re-leathered. I bought a roll of leather, and the leather shop re-stiched the seats.
 
Hi all, Jeni here at Hawk's. Just joining in here regarding the GP for the Katzkin. I am waiting on my seats to arrive from Katzkin in California for an inspection here. Just wanted to see if anyone else in the Group was interested. It should be shortly that we can get this closed out. We haven't pinned that down because of the "beta" set of seats that Katzkin has to recover. Jeni is waiting for those to come back so as to be sure everything is correct as far as color,fit,finishing and stitching etc.

I would guess at least 10 days from today.But that's up to Hawk's 3rd gen.

Hey ya'll.....:) Seats should be back in a week as of this a.m... Also, had one more join for skins and carpet just after lunch. Please be patient with us. I just want to be sure they are "perfect" before we take a dime from you all.

[]Okay all of you. We are almost there. The seats are on the way back and could be here today 10/21/8. I have pictures and they look quite nice. However, I am very picky and want to wait to see them in person to make the call on them. I want to apologize for the amount of time that this has taken to accomplish. You all have been very gracious with me. There were some minor troubles that realistically were major. The seats arrived at Katzkin and they went to put on the skins and realized they were not the correct pattern for "our" seats. With that fact, Katzkin had their long time standing leather expert make an exact match pattern for the seats, then install them. The pattern making took some time, then they had to set the machines to sew. Needless to say, they are on the way back and we are almost finished. Again, thanks for your patience. You ROCK:) Rich, you know you are the bomb! Thanks for the help, as always.

Anyone who is interested and has not yet contacted me, the deal is not closed at this point. Also, keep in mind that while I cannot do the same price on future singular purchases I can also get covers for Camaro, Firebird and Mustangs for anyone in need.

No, it was not going in the wrong direction, but when Rich and I originally talked the only known was Jack's. Jack's price was about 900.00 a row and we have offered both rows through Katzkin to you all for 749.00 plus relevant shipping. Not only the price difference, but the known quality of Katzkin and extra leather that is normally included for the recovering of door panels in all cars at no additional charge. The hook, line and sinker of it is...I sent seats to Katzkin for quality and fit assurance and they have gone above and beyond for this "project" for the TTA group and Hawk's. Long story short, the seats arrived they took the patterned skins and began recovering only to find out the pattern that they had was not correct for the TTA seats. With that said, they called in their leather specialist and had him make the pattern specific to the seats for us. I call that service. All be it this has taken much more time than what I would have liked or did anticipate. But, the seats are showing by Estes to arrive today....Finally! Did I mention that Katzkin has a lifetime warranty? Ofcourse not against abuse. I hope to speak with each one of you today if not Monday. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend
