TTA Basic Mods Questions

I'm trying to help out a friend with a TTA. He would like to replace the stock air box with a cone filter, can he just use a 9 inch k&n like the Buick's (does anyone make a cold air kit)? I would also like to eliminate the oil breather vent from entering the turbo. I know they make kits for the GN how about the TA? Thanks in advance for you help.

I used K&N part number RE-0870. Then just get a Drivers side breather for the valve cover and disconnect that stupid tube. lol Metco makes a nice one. I think RJC racing sells Metco breathers. I am sure other vendors have them too. But this one is different than the GN. It is similar to the LS1 I think. It is a "screw" in breather. But do a search just to make sure.

Thanks for your help, looks like Jegs carries both of them. Will I need to drill the filter like on the GN for the temp sensor?
