TT chip thermostat

I ordered a tt chip last week and neglected to ask what thermostat I should run. Everyone runs the 160, should I get that before installing the chip?

I would call Eric and see what he set the chip for instead of guessing that he set it for 160 just to be sure

The chip is set up for a 160 stat. You can run the chip without it, but performance may suffer a little bit.
