Has anyone used the Sem hot rod satin black for exterior trim ?

There is a black SEM that comes very close. Don't know as tho hot rod black is the same.

At the shop we always used SEM 39143 as kind of a multipurpose trim black. I did my headlight bezels with it 2 years ago and like Chuck said it's close but not exact. On big areas be sure to put down thin even coats or you will see the overlap and avoid doing it in cold weather or it will blush (turn milky).

The body shop painting my car said it was very close and would be more durable . I just want it to be a close match to the factory .
