If u drive with the tcc unplugged during city driving,will it hurt the trans?

I'm thinking just drop it down to 3rd gear and it'll be ok . I might be wrong but , It might not be good to run it in 4th for an extended period without lockup .

My lock up feature acts very nutty.want to lock up to early for the cam that's in it.I drive mostly in town so I just unplugged the tcc

It will not lose 4th gear. It will have 1,2,3,4 just no lock up.

And to the OP at speeds less than 45mph depending on your chip TCC will not lock anyways. All of mine are like that and no issue and I have been in several of these units. Highway ...plug it in or go non lockup. HTH

depending on the chip you have you may be able to change the lock up speed, with my extender chip I have it set for 50 mph. Whose chip are you currently running?

based on what it says you have in your sig get a separate lock up module.

because you are probably have a carb on that motor first off. secondly its a better route for you because once it is installed the adjustments are made on the box.

Install a Toggle switch so you can Lockup when you want to.
