Code 16 is system voltage out of range
Charging system was either below 9 volts or above 16 volts for more than 10 seconds
Clear code from ecm and see if it sets again
If it does Start at testing alternator

code 16 is cam sensor signal lost, it means that the engine was running and the unit didn't see a cam sensor for few revolutions.

usually when this happens (cam sensor failure) the engine will keep running but will not restart after you shut it down.

at the very least, you probably have an intermittent cam sensor, or a loose/weak connector in that circuit.

The code only sets after fact acceleration. Normal driving the code does not set. thankyou for the reply.
