Bob, or Pat;
I am in the process of creating something to keep in the car for quick reference.
I realize there are errors and change the font color to red for the questionable sections.
Can you review the attached info?

Cfg 1 OFF - Turn ON if activating 2-Step in reverse mode (Grounding orange wire.) See Mode 6
Cfg 2 Not used - OFF
Cfg 3 OFF - Turn ON if activating 2-Step via aftermarket "Pill".
Cfg 4 Not used – OFF

Mode 1 - Base Timing mode – Set to OFF
When turned on, Spark timing is forced to 10° BTDC and max RPM 3000"

Mode 2 - Software Update Mode – Set to OFF

Mode 3 - Cam Sensor Phasing Mode – Set to OFF
The tach will read 3000 RPM until the engine is started, then it will read the cam sensor setting with 3000 RPM representing the ‘proper’ 25 degree setting. If the sensor is advanced, the tach will read lower, and if retarded, read higher. The tach reading is 1000 RPM per 10 degrees, so if the sensor is advanced 10 degrees, the tach will read 2000 RPM. For best results the sensor should be adjusted slightly advanced, or between 2000 and 3000 on the tach.

Mode 4 - Wastes park Mode – Set to ON
Set to OFF for CNP set-up.

Mode 5 - Safety Mode – Set to OFF
ON: Feature will shut the engine off if a synchronization failure of CAM or Crank sensor is detected.
NOT EVER BE USED when driving in normal traffic.

Mode 6 - 2 Step trigger – See 2-step section. Set to OFF
Orange Wire: Add 12V to activate 2 step - Mode 6 = Off
Orange wire: Ground to activate 2 step - Mode 6 = On - MUST turn on Cfg 1
RPM must be >1500 for 2-Step to work.

Mode 7 - 2-Step: Retard 10 degrees when ON and triggered.
(Can be combined with mode 8 for 15 degrees total)

Mode 8 - 2-Step: Retard 5 degrees when ON and triggered.

Wires
Orange: See Mode 6
Grey: Used with aftermarket Shift modules / RPM pills

Misc;
Add ground to aluminum case
Upgrade CCCI fuse to 25A
