Tire blowout

Last sun about this time on I95 drivers side front tire blewout My speed was about 60mph not to much damage but scared the !@#$ out of me. Tires came on car when purchased 1yr4mo ago and looked in good condition. Pepboys Futura

That's pretty scary, I'll agree. I had a blowout on my brothers GT Mustang when I borrowed it back in May. I was rolling at a high rate of speed on the PA turnpike when the tire came apart. It used to be a Goodyear Eagle F1... Yeah, tore the sidewall all the way up and halfway through the tread. Body shop said $1125 worth of damage to the car, and I had to buy him two new BFG G-Forces and align the car, cause I'm a nice guy like that.

Glad you weren't hurt, it could've been much worse.

What was the date code on the tires? What tire presure do you run the tires?
