Tire Advice

I'm looking at MT Street Radial's for the rear in 275/50R15. The MT website suggests approved rims as 7.5-9.5 for this tire size. From what I've read the stock rim size is 7. It looks like others have ran this tire size on the stock rim with no problem, but I just want to double check. Will this cause any problems like uneven tire wear?

I was just snooping around during a search for something else and saw a thread where at least a couple of guys had run both 275/50/15's and 275/60/15's on the stock GN rim - 15x7".
Search "rim width" and you shouldn't have to sort through a whole lot to find it.

As for the wear, I predict they will wear TERRIBLY! They will probably be smooth quicker than you think!!

you should use atleast a 8" rim for those sizes.

That's what I was afraid of. I want to retain the stock rim look, and noticed that Gbody has stock style rims in either 15x8 or 15x10. Saw a picture of a 10" rim and they look incredible with the 275/50r15 tire size. But holy cow they are expensive.
