It looks as though I am going to have to lengthen the wires on the Throttle position sensor for my new intake. Should those wires be soldered, crimped, duct taped, etc.
Looking for the best way to do this, not the easiest way.
Thanks

soldered first
crimped second
heat sleeve over the crimp part third

should be good forever :)

make sure you use some good quality solder

I prefer to crimp prior to soldering. There is absolutely no way that it can pull apart after that.

Thanks guys

Craig, I'll send you pictures of the Bug Catcher on the intake at the end of the week. Looks great.

This is going in a 1955 Chevy with a tunnel ram intake and an Enderle Bug Catcher hat so I doubt Spina makes one for that. ;)

So Chris, did you have to lop a hole in the hood for the hat? I hope so... hats under hoods isn't fair to the hat. :D

I made two adapters, one that is about 1.5" high that will stay under the hood. the other is about 6" high that puts the bottom of the hat right on the hood. I am going to get another hood. Cut it and finish it off so I will have two choices.

After you see the billet plates we made for the nitrous and the injector, you will see how easy it is to change.
