I want to run 275/60 DR's on the Convo 8.5. How is the fit? I want to keep the car level. Will running the 5" b/s with a wheel spacer help keep them clear on both sides?

It'd probably be better to use the 15x8.5's with the 3.375" BS and no spacer. I have these on my car with 275/50D15 Hoosier Quick Times and they don't rub, and come right to the edge of the quarter panel lip. Although the 275/60's are a little taller.

You'd have to use one hell of a spacer to keep the inside of the tire from rubbing the frame, I would think.

listen to the Steve's

the 60's will also not be as wide so the tire should be even farther away from the wheel opening - 275-50's would rub just a bit until I put some air bags in the springs - just a few pounds of air keeps them from rubbing.

My car likes the tall 255 60's I am thinking about putting some wide and tall ones on soon so let us know how you work things out.
