ok, so where is the thermostat exactly? I got the upper hose pulled and undid the bolt to let that cresent peice come lose, but the peice that the hose goes on to won't come out...its behind there right?
Grasp it close to the manifold, the close ther better, get it to at least spin freely, and then yank it out with some quick back and forth yanks. If you grab it by the end, you're going to crease it, those puppies bend and crease easily and quickly.
yup, they sure do, I got it though - I also posted on the other board and they mentioned a rubber gasket, and I went out there and wiggled on it and it popped on out - I was trying to do more of a spinning motion rather than up and down...thanks
