got back from vegas on sunday night too late to post these, then was dead tired and couldn't be coherent enough on monday to finish the job...sorry about pic quality on some of these, drunk with a new camera=blurry photo's sometimes

vegas was really fun, basically broke even on gambling(won enough it didn't hurt too much to pay for the food, stuff got expensive) didn't get to see the hoover dam like i wanted, just didn't have enough time....but i did have time to hit the Imperials car collection..

the wife pointed this one out to me as we got close....like i would miss seeing it......only 2900 miles, no price tag though.

they wouldn't let me test drive it either, my argument of " but it's my birthday" didn't go over well...

this one kinda confused me....$15,000 for a grand am?

saw this on the street as we stepped out, heard it before i saw it...

bunch more car photo's i took more, but don't feel like posting them right now....

so back to the other pics......

view from the room..... the Luxor was a great hotel btw

we walked the strip from Treasure island back to the Luxor...didn't realize how far it was, got blisters on both feet since i wore dress shoes instead of tennies. took a bunch of pics once it got dark.

i've got more pics of the strip, just need to upload them and do a little editing to clear them up....

stopped at Margaritaville for dinner....had the best steak i've ever had there, and that is actually saying something.

got to see Carrot Top's show, pretty funny when he doesn't do the pg13 stuff, got into trouble with security for taking pics during the show....ooops

didn't win any real money, but i lost enough to get a couple free t-shirts. since it was the weekend, the table limits were higher than i was comfortable with, so i stuck to the slot machines for the most part....i did throw a few bucks away at the roulette table, but missed out on blackjack.

saw a few of the showgirls, got to chat with one....really glad my wife was there and didn't mind my drooling over her like a dog on a steak.

not much else to talk about.....some stuff has to remain private....

Thats cool. I've never seen the car collection there.

I went to Vegas for my honeymoon, and stayed at the Luxor too. :D

car display

looks like imperial palace...when we valet parked our car the valet guy says
welcome...staying here?...i was like nope just going to car collection...
he says you got tickets.....nope i replied....reaches in his pocket, gives me 2 and says have a great time,......tipped him $10.00...thats service..
although i wopuld never stay there.....it is nasty..
highly recommend off the strip....Sunset Station....beautiful and alot less money...

yeah, the tickets to see the car collection were only $7 each, didn't mind paying but if anyone else goes, check their website for free tickets to it in order to save cash....and the hotel definitly needs work. the luxor was great, very clean and you could hardly smell the smoke, even when they were next to you...some of the other casino's are pretty bad...if you don't smoke, avoid Ceasers palace....you could see the smoke at about head level.

the best thing is, i get to go back in the fall, we got free rooms at the Excalibur sometime in the next year, since the wife teaches, it will be during the before school break....

I believe that's a McClarin Turbo Grand Prix. Nice rare car.
