HELLO EVERYONE,
I WANT TO THANK TURBO LOU FOR HELPING ME WITH MY FIRST TURBO BUICK. I HAVE KNOWN LOU SINCE I WAS 15 YEARS OLD LIVING IN SO. CAL WISHING I COULD AFFORD ONE OF THESE CARS. LOU TRIED TO GET ME TO BUY ONE OF HIS CARS NUMEROUS TIMES OVER THE YEARS BUT I EITHER COULD NOT GATHER UP THE MONEY OF I WAS DISTRACTED WITH OTHER THINGS. NEEDLESS TO SAY HE HAS HELPED ME TREMENDOUSLY WITH MY FIRST TURBO BUICK.

I ENDED UP BUYING ONE OF THE 1987 BUICK WE4 CARS. ALTHOUGH THE CAR WAS IN VERY NICE CONDITION INTERIOR AND STRUCTURALLY, IT NEEDED LOU'S EXPERTISE TO CORRECT AND REPAIR EVERYTHING THAT THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD DONE WRONG, INCORRECTLY OR JUST CHEAPED OUT IN DOING TO SAVE A BUCK. IN MY EFFORT TO NOT JUST UNLOAD THIS CAR AND FORGET IT, I SHIPPED THE CAR FROM New Mexico TO LOU'S SHOP IN LAKE FOREST WHERE HE WORKED FOR OVER A MONTH TO CORRECT ALL THAT WAS NOT RIGHT WITH THIS CAR. NOW, IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING, THAT MY BUICK IS RIGHT, CORRECT AND RUNNING PERFECTLY. MANY THANKS TO LOU AND HIS MANY,, MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN HELPING ME OUT. I LOVE THIS CAR AND CONTINUE TO DETAIL AND TOUCH UP THINGS TO KEEP MAKING IT EVEN NICER.

THANK YOU!

Thanks Tom, no one could teach you the lessons that you have learned buying your first Buick unfortunately there are people with no integrity that you got mixed up with. I felt partly responsible because I steered you to the person you bought the car from I have known for many years and trusted that’s why I felt an obligation to make this right. Had I been able to inspect this car before you bought it things would’ve went differently. You live in New Mexico the car was purchased in Arizona and I am in California. For someone to sell you a car with a bad transmission pouring oil out of the front timing cover and running on five cylinders plus a multitude of other half assed problems for top dollar was unconscionable . So you now have what should of been from the start and it pleases me that you’re happy. Regards Lou

Chuck have you been mixing vodka with your Geritol again . One should never post while under the influence of adult beverages.

Hi Lou! I thot for a while, you had moved to your sheep ranch, and forgot about us!
With the "social distancing orders", how will you ever be able to snuggle up with your favorite uwe?:p

Yes, the car is now what I was expecting when I bought it and your continued help and support is greatly appreciated. As you know, I take your advice when I do anything to this car. It's the only way I'll know it is done the right way. I should have known something was up with the seller when he pulled the original wheels back out of the deal once I was there and also lied about never hearing the suspension rub before on our test drive and blamed it on there being two people in the car. Anyway, it's over now and I am enjoying the car thanks to you.

I turned my caps lock off...whoohoo! haha

For $25,000 I would’ve insisted on the original wheels since this was no bargain to begin with. This has taught me a lesson also I don’t think I’ll ever get involved with the buying or selling of these cars again unless I know it thoroughly and inspected myself Especially when there’s nothing in it for me except to become a partner in somebody’s tragedy .

Great post. Having never met the man (Turbolou), it gives me a great sense joy and pride knowing that the real OG's we have here are cut from a different cloth and moral fiber. That very same dna is something from that era, when a hand shake and giving you my word meant more than a legal binding contract. I commend you Sir, keep raising the bar and setting the benchmark of what and how our small community should be like.

Everyone, I cannot say enough about how Lou is a man of his word, honest and will treat you right. Again, I have known him since I was 15 and am now 52 in August and over the years he worked on my other cars ('82 Z28, '87 Chevy shorted truck, '85 IROC Z) and never once steered me wrong. If you want your cars done correctly, see Lou, period.
