Temp gauge

Hi,

I want wire in a permanent temp and pressure gauge.

Two questions:

- What NPT is the tap? 1/4?
- What should the temp range be for the sending unit that I am going to tap into the PTS deep pan.

Some senders use 1/8" some use 1/4". The sender must match the guages needle sweep range. Usually easier to buy a guage with the sender included. Here's one fairly cheap & they have several styles to choose from>

Say - that pressure port on the side of the trans, what NPT is that 1/4?
