It was installed by SE Turbo. I have a receipt for it from them. That's the only info I have on it

Thanks Dave only reason I'm asking is that there a lot of variations of that turbo .. all depends on who made it ...

is it a 63mm compressor or 66 mm ? ... is it a big shaft turbo ?

Honestly I don't have the answer to any of those questions. Only info I have is it says te45A on the paperwork I have. I haven't measured anything on it. Are you still in Illinois?

Gotcha .. yeah if its a large shaft 66mm TE45A that is one hell of a turbo .. They make stupid power and pull like Freight trains on mild setups.. Luv that turbo ..

Should sell REAL QUICK if its a 66 / large shaft

in IL 1 week out of the month ..

If I take the exhaust housing off, and post pics. Will you be able to identify it?

Here's some measurements

I am interested in the turbo, please call me to discuss a deal, thanks - 602-866-9908.

Im running 10.27 @ 133 with 29 #s of boost. Car is 3850 with driver. The 45a performs well.

Thank you. I'm kind of confused though. Is there more than one turbo considered a TE45A?

A TE-45 is a 66mm vs. a TE-45A which is a 63mm.

Unless you use a machined stock turbo Garrett A/R 63 exhaust housing, a TE-45A is a "lazy dog" when spooling.

A TE45A with a Garrett with a stock exhaust housing and the correct torque converter will spool as good as a comparable BB turbo which is twice the price!

I think John Craig built mine will have to remove housing and check...Wish I had 1st hand knowledge of how mine runs to share but never been to the track with car
