My stock led tach is always redlined. Is this a common problem? Is it in the wiring or unit itself?

Thanks that is what i was looking for. I know the crank sensor is working through my snap on scanner and my lap top, so the computer is recieving input. Is this upgrade listed in caspers catalog, if not what is the cost? Thanks again.

Make sure the wire behind the alternator is not grounded.

thanks i had seen that post earlier while looking for my no charge problem. i figured since i had dash apart i'd figure out why my tach sucked.the wires are not plugged in and from the post those wires may disappear.thanks again.
