Swapping to PM brakes?

I have a cam that is barely marginal for Vacuum Assisted brakes, and I would like to swap to a PM brake set-up, I wondered about this for the last few years, but the cost of the PM itself always turned me away from it. Now that I can pick-up a complete PM for $143.99, (plus a core of 61.00, as I have no core) it's starting to look like a viable option.

What would I need to swap over to a PM from Vacuum Assist? Is there some type of firewall adapter? Is the Brake Pedal/arm the same as a Vacuum Assist? Where do PM's get their power from?

You need a adapter bracket to bolt the PM to the firewall and a brake pedal. Should be plenty of used ones out there. Maybe post your needs in the parts wanted forum.
