Suspension Recomendations

I'm trying to decide how I should configure my upr & lwr control arms.I currently have South Sides (which I was given) but I don't think that is the proper way to go.1st,does someone know of a replacement type of bushing for SSM's so I'm not tearing up my control arm brackets?2nd,I don't think SSM's put the instant center where it should be.I've never had slicks on the car (only BFG Drag Radials) but it was going 1.8's just rolling into the pedal on no boost launches.I would like to get 1.7/1.6 on BFG 275/60/r16's.I was thinking about just boxing my stock control arms with reservation.Any advice is appreciated.
