Super nice 87 T 5.0 low miles

Saw this super clean 87 V8 Regal T. What I don't get is I thought all cars except the Turbo cars got a flat hood but this one has the turbo hood.

My guess is that it was added post manufacture

Actually, a few came that way from the factory. V8 with a T package. I'm not saying that this is a bonafide example of one, but it could be.
