Always loved these cars.

Wifey wants me to build her a convertible "mommy car" and I'll be pulling the Turbo6/2004R out of my GN for a turbo LS1 soon...

I know they fit V8s in these cars in the 60s, anybody actually worked on one?

Any idea how much surgery is required to retrofit a bigger motor/trans?

Looking at this one:

Yeah Dan I thought you'd like this one:cool:.

Looks like the majority of engine swaps are mustang V6/T5. Is that a narrow engine compared to the Buford?

Obviously I'd prefer to swap the Turbo 6 but if it just won't fit I'd do something else.

Anyone got one of those "weak" aluminum stage blocks handy?:D I can see an all aluminum 11:1 roller cammed carbed 274 stage motor being plenty of fun.

I've also seen adapters to bolt up GM automatics to 4G63 DSM turbo motors. That would be small and narrow and light and make good power:cool:.

Any of these turbo options would have Razor's alky instead of an intercooler.

Found some interesting pics.

Dude did a rear mount twin turbo SBF on his Tiger.

My boss is doing a resto as we speak. There is a local cat that he uses for help and parts. I hope to do a nice little motor for his car.

Nice!

What kinda motor you planning on building?

I think there's enough room for a turbo 6 in there...
