sumped tank in 87 turbo T

my turbo T has a fuel cell in it now and i want to convert it back overto a stock fuel tank with a sump.

what is involved in doing this?i have a tank out of a carb'd V/8 regal.
how do i get the fuel gauge to work properly?will a turbo-t fuel sender work on this tank?
