Stupid Question: Center Caps?

Obviously my first GN, I got some new center caps and was wondering if they just press on over the lugs or do you have to remove the lugs to put them on? Thanks again for the help.

Push on. Use a screwdriver to push on metal tabs, if they appear to not be seated. Bend tabs to get a better bite, if caps are used ones.

Do yourself a favour if you want to keep those caps on--install a screw with a big head holding the metal ring to the plastic tab. Those plastic tabs break off and the cap falls off.

If you want to have your GN caps live a long and healthy life, remove 3 adjacent lug nuts, put the cap in place, screw on the 3 lug nuts. Pushing, bending, pulling like the tire shops do will quickly kill them.

The plastic tabs break because people pull, push and bend the caps when removing and installing.
