Great vids....That police chase was crazy. I guess criminals just don't understand that they always end up loosing or end up behind bars.

yeah that chase ending was interestingly radical ....you can almost see the cops brain click and say "Oh hell no you don't" when he decides to turn into him....inertia always wins

That superCharger perked up that Viper , (camera car).....That "Rocky" video was a guy trying to see if he could get away doing stupid stunts ..... Might be hard to see it since it's a slow server...... I think it's down now... maybe it will come up later..

The Viper belongs to a friend of mine. We were in Brandenton for a Viper race the week before and he stayed down there to do some work. While at Bradenton, his best pass was a 9.55@144. The car makes a ton of power for sure. He's posts on here from time to time.

Acme, if you get bored one day you need to ride up here (Chattanooga) and you can check out the car. It's a trip to to be a 100% internally stock motor. Aside from the Venom 500 stuff that Hennessey did to it, it's only got aftermarket roller rockers on it and, of course, the blower.

If your from Chatt. then I take it that's Tony's viper. I used to run with him in the NMCA EFI class when he had the black Firebird. I saw him in the viper at Steele a while back.

Yeah, that's the same Tony. He still has the Firebird, but it's a bit sick right now. I was at Steele with him, so we keep crossing paths, but never get to meet up.

No telling how many times we've been at the same track then. I saw him run the firebird at Brainerd. It's been maybe a year or so ago and seems like it went some low 6's. That's the last I saw of it. We usually go to a lot of the outlaw races at Brainerd. I thought he might have sold it and went to the viper. Sounds like he's got plenty of nice toys.

We took the Firebird to Reynolds a few years ago so he could get the elusive 9 second time slip with it. He went a 9.92@142. He then ran it at Brainerd a bit later and killed it. :\ It's now sitting there waiting on the block to be pulled so it can get repaired. It's kind of depressing. It's getting close to the first race at Brainerd. I can't wait to see the L/S cars start going fast again. If we keep crossing paths long enough, eventually we'll meet up.

Ringgold is actually where we live, so that'd make it that much easier!
