Student Loans Suck

My wife and I have about 40k in student loans. About 500.00 a month. Man what I could buy for the GN with that extra $$$! We both have good jobs because of those student loans,,,,so where we may be without them ,,,,,,who knows. But the payment every month still sucks! Mine we will have to pay, but she is a Registered Nurse in a very Rural Health setting so we are trying to find companies that give grants for rural health employees, and pay off student loans. Anyone else in a situation like my wife and had your loans paid, or know where we could go? I sure would like that extra 500 a month to go low 10s

The NHSC also administers a Federal loan repayment program for specified health professionals willing to relocate to a designated underserved area, and is also found on this website.

Heck, I have been using my student loans for the last 3 years to buy stuff for my cars... including the purchase of my Turbo Regal.

This year it is paying for some 17s.

So, in a year or so I'll be paying $xxx per month to keep my car.
