Stock Turbo Rebuild

The stock turbo on my 86 GN is leaking oil and I need to rebuild because a new turbo is a little too pricey. What options are available? Is there a rebuild Kit or perhaps someone in the Daytona beach area that can handle this. How about better perfomrance. IE reducing lag or increasing air volume. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it would be cheaper to buy a used stock GN turbo in good condition. They can be had for around $150 plus shipping.

Rebuild it yourself. Get a kit (~$65, from CFI, Coast Fuel Injection or one of the vendors). Have it balanced locally (~$35, look for a diesel shop) or ship it off to have it rebalanced once you are done.

www.limitengineering.com rebuild kit about $75. CFI no longer sells kits, atleast thats what he told me when I called 3 weeks ago.
