Stock Pistons or aftermarket?

Currently in the middle of my rebuild. My stock pistons look very good and can be reused however I am following Merkel's engine rebuilding to a T and he wants TRW's. What is everyone's suggestion as far as keeping the stockers or going with the aftermarkets? This is for a show car with some snot...not looking for an all out racer. Any comments welcome. Thanks guys.

Absolutely nothing wrong with stock pistons...as long as the skirts and pins are great.

Guys have been right down into low 11s if not quicker with stock pistons, and they're reliable.

By all means --keep your stock pistons. No need to worry about rebalance. I know lots of guys going in the mid 10/s with stock pistons.

stock piston are good but
forged are the best
