I would like to know what you guys are running out there with stock longblocks with boltons, only using pump fuel with alky and no race fuel?

Thanks,
Marco.

How much boost, and timing, and how much does the car weigh? Thats a great et and mph, I hope I could get my car down there. Did he ever try taller drag radials?

Marco.

Boost was 28lbs, 26 degrees 1/2 and 24 3rd. Raceweight is around 3720.

Let me know if you need anything else.

11.62 @ 114 1.6 60 foot. 25 psi and 27/24 timing. around 4000 with me and heavy steel crager street stars and through cheap 12 dollar mufflers on a duttneck and a ta-49

Steve how much do you think I would gain just by going to a bigger turbo and better torque convertor? I am trying to go as fast as I can with my te44 because am worried to sacrafice instant boost reponse by going to a bigger turbo. This year I will try the gen 2 translator plus with a ls1 maf, 275/60/15 MT Drag Radials, and box my control arms and put urethane bushings in them. At the power level that you are at shoudn't you try to go to taller tires?

Thanks,
Marco.

10.92 @ 123.7mph
1.59 60'

27.6psi @ 25* timing

t63e turbo, 218/218 flat tappet, tony dequick v1 front mount, stock headers, THDP 3", 55lb injectors, FAST B2B, 2.5" hooker exhaust, Stock sway bar, stock control arms, stock springs, bilstein struts, M/T 28x13.5" ET Streets, razor dual nozzle alky kit.

Probably could have went 10.75... was only launching with 5psi....

Is he running stock "unported" heads?

Kind of curious here...

Mike

Yes, the motor is all original except for valve springs. I changed those in 2001.

Thanks Sweet6...

That gives me more hope to get into 10s with my configuration of PT-54, 55 lb injs, precision style stock I/C, BGC elbo w/ 3" downpipe, Champion portes irons and intake, Accu 70mm TB, 2 1/2" duals, stock suspension with QA1 shocks on rear and newly installed Razors alky. I do not know exactly yet what convertor, but it is at 3K.

I feel that I will get low 11s and hope to get into the 10s. I need to weigh my car. Is your 3720 lbs a lightened weight? Any body stiffeners or other mods done?

Thanks,
Mike

The front sway bar is off and I have Drag Lites. 15X7 in front and 15X8 in back.
