still getting knock at low boost

Ok guys i have a puzzling problem and am slowly going through all the ideas i have and its not getting any better

if i ease into boost my car knocks under low boost
i thought maybe not enough fuel so i did a fuel pump and hotwire kit and still same problem.... maybe even worse i tried going richer and that made no change

only things i am thinking is there is a loose bracket someplace that is banging and i cant hear it
or
clogged or fouled up injectors
i listened to the injectors and they fire but only means they are working the spray pattern may be very bad or maybe clogged alltogether
my coil pack works ok except at very high rpms it will miss (used the tester) i will replace that ASAP

what do you guys think
any opinions would be appreciated

My 84 did the same thing under low boost. It was the coil pack!! It now runs perfect. Let us know the turn out.

Chances are it's your coil pack, if it is already showing signs of failure. If you think it is false knock throw some xylene or race gas in it and see if it still does it.HTH
