This is an extremely dumb question and I think I already know the answer, but......

Is there anyway to adapt a Stage II top end on a 109 block?

Thanks,

Aaron

It mightbe easier to use a 4.1 production block. I think mike from full throttle is working on a stage2 headed production motor.

It works just fine
needs a bit of special machine work but nothing crazy. Call Bill Anderson he is putting mine together

Does the machine work need to be done on the block or the heads?

How extensive is the machine work...what does it consist of?

Thanks,
Aaron

The heads are fine. Pistons are a bit different and the block needs to be notched to clear the valves if it is a 3.8 like mine. I used iron heads, 320 CFM for $750 investment on heads. Leaves plenty of money for the 4 BBL intake conversion and a set of used ATR headers. I still have less money invested than a full on set of chanpion or TA heads with matching ported intake. Camshaft is special as well I used a solid roller
