Yep I was gonna call you today..
Drag, I had allready paid for all my Tickets, hotel, plans were to fly into Dayton, pick up the can and then drive to INDY then to Nats, Then fly home out of INDY.
So I ended up staying in Florida on vacation with the kids.
Flip did not feel comfortable with accepting a cashiers check for the car, already had it issued and did not find out till the day I left that he was uncertain about it. I just did not have 3-4 days to wait in Ohio the the funds to transfer, despite the Bank did gaurentee funds on the check by calling them. But I guess Flip had been stung before on a deal so he was leary letting the car go.
Oh well guess it was not mean to be, their will be more cars. I have a excellent car now as you know so not to broken hearted.
Its too bad that so many bad apples ruin it for the Honest guy. I would not fly 6000 miles to give someone a bad check.
