Hi guys!

Funny thing is that i found one of these engines in little Sweden and only 10 min. from our house!

Engine setup is:

Stage 2 block
Stage 2 aluminium heads
Stage 2, two intakes
Buick motorsport crank, even fire.
Viseco or Ross pistons
Carillo rods
Competition front cover
Jesel rockers

Don´t know what the cam is.

The engine is having wet sump now, but one kit for dry sump is included and it mounts to the crank/damper.

One set unknown headers included.

Engine is complete ecxept for carburator.

The engine might need some new rings-bearings.

Does any one of you know what the value is for this kinda engine?

Thanks,

In the US this engine would be worth anywhere from $2500 to $6000 depending on condition.

What type of racing was the engine used in/for? Road Racing?

Please post a picture if available.

Hi Dave,

The guys who has the engine tould me that it have been in the Indy light and have 2 intakes, 1 for circle track and 1 for road course (is that the right name?) or is it as you said road racing?

To me it seems that these guys actually don´t know so much about the engine, one of them tould me it was 4.5 with Sonny Bryant crank and forged block?
The other one tould me what i´ve wrote here and i trust him more....
They just recived the engine and it has been stored in the workshop for one year now.

The f. up could be that they have done a couple of Stage 2 engines for this costumer that have had several setups with different bore-stroke.

I don´t have any pic of it and my new computer (Windows XP) doesn´t work yet with my digicam, but i´m working on it.

Thanks for taking your time and answering me!
