stage 2 on center block

Need help picking out the right piston rings material for my stage 2 on center motor. Waiting on my CP Pistons to come in so i can start putting my motor together. What are you stage 2 buick guys running for piston rings with about 30 Lbs. of boost or more?What type of piston ring material are you guys running the most like Total Seal hell fire plasma rings top,ductile-iron ring second,and standard-tension oil ring. And should i follow ring manufacture gap specs with my iron block.Do you guys have any suggestion on ring gaps for top and second plus oil tension ring.

I hear the metric rings have less drag/ more hp.

I am using Hell Ring rings. With my TA motor, I went with a LS1 overbore size of 3.913. There are many sizes of rings available but limited sizes are available in the "Hell Fire" type rings. Try and stick with the popular Chevy sizes and you'll have alot available.

You are kinda stuck on the thickness of the rings because you already ordered your pistons.
