wondering if it would be a good idea to prevent rust is to spray the inside rear frame section with fluid film or some sort of grease to protect it from rusting. respray twice a year or so.. same sorta idea with spraying inside the door panel with wd40

I would get the frame dipped to remove all rust and get frame powder coated. That will get in all the cavities.

I would either powder coat or use por 15 if the car is still on the body. Adding grease intentionally is just asking for moisture and other contaminants to collect and would more than likely be harmful.

There is a "wax" spray that owners of older corvettes use to seal the inside of their frames. Its applied with long wands thru the frame holes similiar to what HyperV6 posted.

ya i read that u mix wax with mineral spirits and spray it inside doors. it makes a coating that prevents oxidizing.
im going to see if i can get some eastwood frame coating ordered and try that
