Source for 2.0" to 2.5" intercooler hose adapter?

Has anyone used the Kirban #6689 hose adapter (2.0 to 2.5") on a Duttweiler neck Intercooler ?

Is it made of "real" industrial rubber hose?

From the picture, the adapter looks a lot like the soft rubber coupling you'd find on hub-less plumbing fittings! Seems it might rupture or blow off under high boost ...

Baker Precision has "real looking" silicone hose adapters, but they only come in red or blue ... and I wanted a stock-looking black hose.

Any other sources for this adapter hose??

I'd tend to think it's an appropriate section of hose with the strength characteristics you're looking for. Kirban's other hoses are use-specific & correct for their application.

But, the 100% correct answer is a phonecall away to Kirban.

atr sells a nice 2-2 1/2 intercooler hose heavyduty silicone and fiberglass i believe

SO does Jack Cotton. I use his 2-3" adapter. Works great under 26lbs of boost.
