Glad to hear Lou is back on the scene!! Actually, he never left but was without a shop to work from. I guess that makes him sort of a performance refugee that has found asylum.

Is good to hear he is back, I keep trying to send people over but most buick owners I meet have heard of him and they all same say the same thing, that they don't want to deal with his attitude, 99% of the time I end up defending him like a cat fighting for his life on it's back because I know deep down he is a good man, most people I know now are going to the begosian brothers, Darryl from signal hill buick dealer or a few other good mechanics in the valley, but when it comes to building your engines Lou still the man .

Please keep this in mind. I do not want to start a flame war. This is just my opinion. I have never gotten any attitude from Lou. Maybe it just me, but I normally will not take any B.S. from some one who is working for on my cars, house etc. I feel that I have always been treated right by Lou. He has always been helpful, polite and honest with me. As an added bonus he knows what the heck he is doing. If I wanted rude, dishonest boobs to work on my car I would not drive the 50 plus miles to Lou. We have our own supply of idiot "mechanics" near where I live. ( Lou when do I get my $5.00 you promised me for posting this just kiding)

You're right. The "Ogre" as we lovingly refer to him is a nice guy if you know him. Like he has told me more than once before "When I'm having a bad day I don't even like being around myself". Owing you own business can be really stressful. I can see how it can get to anyone. Glad to have you back Lou.

Some of the people here on the board need to better understand common courtesy and manners. If you came into my shop or home and interrupted a conversation and spouted off with that kind of crap, you would be thrown out without an explaination. Why do you think it can be done here?

Our members prefer a more civilized and friendly atmosphere, and this is what we try to give them. If you feel you cannot abide by our procedures, that is fine. But do understand, you ARE able to speak your mind here, just do it in the appropiate manner and forum.

Our MAIN rule on this board is common sense and common courtesy!
