SLIC bracket water pump bolt

I pulled my SLIC last night and was quickly reminded that the upper PS bracket bolt goes into the water jacket. The original bolt is long since lost. Does anyone happen to know the correct length for a front mount application where the bracket is not used? I'd like to get the proper bolt back in place before I forget about it.

Also, I have seen recommendations to Teflon the threads and/or use RTV gasket material to seal the bolt head. I used gasket material when I installed the SLIC years ago. Thanks.

If it is a PTC intercooler bracket that also has a spacer to the timing cover, my poor memory says it is a 5" long 5/16" coarse thread bolt.
