hello. i put around 30 miles on the truck yesterday and all went well. 3rd gear pressure switch for lockup was accidentally not installed, but sounds like an easy fix. the stall speed is too high for my purpose and lonnie is going to work with me on that. my engine has a lot of low end torque that i want to utilize. all in all i call it a success and once we get the stall right it will be an awesome result.
o/d in lockup is awesome, will make for pleasurable road trips.
you gotta love a business owner (lonnie) who will have email conversations on saturday and sunday night til about 10.
you may want to use a vacuum switch so the tcc will unlock at heavier throttles. and perhaps wait until overdrive to enable the TCC also. (prevents chuggle on the 3-4 shift..)
