Somtimes my tansmission will ski 3rd and go right to fourth from second gear.
Once and a while it'll skip 2nd and go right to 3rd from 1st, but not nearly as much as skipping 3rd.
It happens if I acccelerate slow from a light, or stop sign, and it'll be in first and it'll just keep revin and revin to about like 3500,and then "BAMM" into third. BUt if I punch it at any time the car will instantly go and shift normal at full throttle.
ALL full throttle shifts are PERFECT, ALL the time.
I rebuilt it 6 months ago with all of PTS's good parts. It's a CZ
in AN 86 MCSS, and it is the original transmisison and was untuched before I took it apart for rebuild. I did not notice the problem before rebuild, I had to rebuild because of slipping shifts.
I have tried different t.v. cable settings to no avail.
