Any tips on installing this? My original one is looking a little rough.

Thx

Use a flat head screwdriver or pick to pry out the clip, then press it back into place once the new handle is on.

The clip is a “U” shaped piece. It looks like a staple and goes in the slot circled.
It seems you will have to push the handle down because of the spring to get it back in.

Yeah, this doesn’t look right. It looks like there is something missing on the dead side. The piece on the original handle came off with a hacksaw but..?

It seems the new handle would come with the black plastic plug and chrome ring, but I don’t know.
I’m not sure if it can be removed from the old handle and put in the new one.
Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will help out.

Is it possible to drill a hole in the backside of the black plastic plug and glue it in the new handle. Maybe not ideal, but would look correct.
