I have a stock shifter out of my 87 gn...

you are going to need more to convert from a hurst than just "a shifter"
shift cable
shift cable clips
bracket at the trans pan
linkage bracket at the trans selector
the shifter with jbar and spring and selector for 2004r
shifter knob assembly
shifter plate assembly (the whole part with ashtray lid)
shifter indicator lamp assembly and plastic that slides and indicator guide
now because of how the hurst installs it involves some cutting
so to correctly to install "the shifter " you may also need
the shifter mounting bracket(s) that were welded on the floor
the console plastic under the shift plate needed to be cut out so you will need a new console (or just the top part if you can find it)
the lockout linkage from trans to steering column since that may have been removed

I have the shifter gate plate, (the one which came with ''Stage Right" trans brakes) which prevents the shifter from being accidentally pushed into "N" or worse, into "R" : $25. + shipping
