I had my tranny out for two years, and eventually bought a new transmission. I can't find my old shifter bracket(the arm on the shaft that the cable moves to shift). Where o where can I get another? Any one have one sitting around? Thanks. Later........

There is a guy on ebay selling a new one. Item 8044222402

I think it might still be available at your local GM dealer.

Yes and no. lol

I do have one of these brackets I bought new from GM last year and it still has the part number on it, but I can't find it. I think it is still in the back of the chicken and therefore in storage. I'll try and swing by today and see if it is there.

Ok I found the lever. It is still available from GM. GM list price is $10.43. It is $5.94 at gmpartsdirect.com. Part#: 10026214

Note that this doesn't include the little pin that the cable attaches to. That is a separate part and should still be available from GM too. You will have to ask the guy to look it up in the book.

Now that's some Buick brothers service! Thanks alot man. I am going to order right now. Later....Danny
